Legal status
The 'Principality of Sealand' was declared in 1967 by Paddy Roy Bates on HM Fort Roughs (Roughs Tower), a Maunsell sea fort built by the UK in 1943 off the Suffolk coast. No sovereign state recognises it. Since the UK extended its territorial waters to 12 nautical miles in 1987, the platform has been inside waters internationally recognised as British. It has no gambling law, regulator or betting market.

Because of this, 1x_529930 Bonus Desk does not promote 1xBet in Sealand: there are no sign-up instructions or bonus offers for Sealand on this site, and our partner link does not send visitors from Sealand to 1xBet.
Sport and betting in Sealand
Sealand usually has only a handful of people living on the platform, if any. It raises money by selling novelty titles and souvenirs, and it has no betting market.
What this means for you
- Do not use VPNs or “mirror” sites to get around the law — accounts opened that way can be closed and winnings withheld, and you may break local law.
- You would have no local regulator to complain to if something went wrong.
- If betting is legal in your country, use operators licensed by your national regulator.
