1xBet Advancebet explained
Advancebet lets you place a new bet when your balance is empty, using an advance secured against bets you have already placed but which are not yet settled. When those bets settle, the advance is repaid from their winnings. In practice it works like borrowing against your own open bets.

How Advancebet works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. You have open bets | Bets placed but not yet settled |
| 2. Your balance is empty | Advancebet may become available |
| 3. You take an advance | Its size depends on your open bets |
| 4. You place a new bet with it | The bet is linked to the advance |
| 5. Open bets settle | Winnings first repay the advance; the rest goes to your balance |
Example
You have a โฌ20 accumulator waiting to settle and โฌ0 balance. Advancebet offers a โฌ5 advance. You bet that โฌ5 on another match. If the โฌ20 accumulator wins, the โฌ5 advance is taken from its winnings first. If it loses, there is nothing to repay the advance from โ and under the terms the advance bet can be lost as well.
When it makes sense โ and when it does not
| Situation | Our view |
|---|---|
| You want to bet but have reached your budget | Do not use it โ your budget is the limit |
| You are chasing losses | Do not use it โ take a break |
| You have a planned bet and money is on its way | Possible, if you understand the terms |
The risk in plain words
Advancebet lets you bet money you have not won yet. That is the same as borrowing to bet, which is one of the clearest warning signs of a gambling problem. If you find yourself reaching for it often, set a deposit limit or a time-out โ see responsible gambling.
Advancebet vs other features
| Feature | What it does | Costs you |
|---|---|---|
| Advancebet | Lets you bet against unsettled bets | Possible loss of the advance and the new bet |
| Bet insurance | Refunds part of a losing stake | A fee each time |
| Cash out | Settles a bet early | Usually less than the full potential win |
Questions to ask yourself first
- Would I place this bet if the advance were not offered?
- Have I already reached my weekly or monthly betting budget?
- Am I trying to win back money I lost earlier today?
If you answer yes to the last two, do not use Advancebet. A deposit limit or a short time-out is the better tool.
How the advance size is set
1xBet calculates the maximum advance from the stakes and odds of your unsettled bets, and it is usually a fraction of what those bets could pay. Bets with lower odds or very long settlement times may not qualify. The amount offered is shown before you confirm, along with the bet it is linked to โ read it carefully.
